Electrical Maintenance
Description
This program in electricity involves daily laboratory work and instruction devoted to electrical theory and trade information. Electricity includes, in part, layout, assembly, installation, and testing electrical apparatus. Learning experiences include DC and AC motors and generators, transformers, and rectifiers, safety devices, power supplies, and motor controls, both relay and semiconductor.
Students who successfully complete the program receive recognition as Level I Apprentice Electricians from the National Center for Construction Education and Research.

Algebra I or equivalent (grade C or better)
